Issue: LinkedIn- Unable to Save Indian Cards
Reason For the Decline.
Due to the recent RBI Regulations and Tokenization that was introduced on October 2022, the BillDesk team have updated their software version from 1.0 to 2.0 due to which the customers are facing issues with merchants like LinkedIn, Microsoft, and Google.
Steps which will help resolve this Issue
Step 1 : Login to the LinkedIn A/c and click on the Billing Option and try to edit the card details and if you get the same error shown above
Step 2 - If this option doesn't allow you to add the card then kindlly login to your SIHUB to check if there are any pending invoice, if yes please APPROVE it and within 24hrs the transaction will be processed.
Step 3. If there is no option to approve the invoice and if you have an option to OPTOUT, kindly click on the option and go back to the LinkedIn and try to delete and add the card and this will allow you to add and complete the transaction.
Alternative
1. Kindly remove the card details from the merchant website and add the card back and do not save the card details which allow the transaction.
2. If you have access to a Mastercard request you to try the transaction we are seeing a good success rate.
Please note that these steps have been tested successfully with our internal accounts and clients.
If you still face issues we request you to drop an email to support@karboncard.com and we will connect with you over a call and help resolve it.
Best,
Karbon Team.
